Analysis of Precautions for Storage of Ethylene Oxide Sterilizer
font size:littlemiddleBig
Ethylene oxide sterilizer is a special equipment for low-temperature fumigation and sterilization of articles enclosed in a sterilization chamber with ethylene oxide gas under certain conditions of temperature, pressure and humidity. It has the advantages of broad sterilization spectrum, strong penetrability (can penetrate cloth, carton, polyethylene film), complete sterilization, no damage to items, and easy storage of items after sterilization.
Ethylene oxide should be stored in a separate room. The room should have ventilation, explosion-proof and fire-fighting facilities. Ethylene oxide cylinders should be stored in a cool place away from heat sources, and the storage temperature of ethylene oxide should be lower than 30 degrees. Ethylene oxide cylinders shall have fixed brackets.
The use of the sterilizer must be kept intact, especially the air tightness of the electrical control cabinet and the box. If the equipment fails during use, the sterilization should be stopped immediately, and the ethylene oxide in the box should be evacuated. When sterilizing with ethylene oxide, the sterilizer should be tested for leaks regularly. Troubleshooting should be carried out by operators and professional equipment technicians. You can refer to the maintenance and maintenance manual provided by the manufacturer. If the fault cannot be eliminated, please contact the manufacturer in time. Operators should be neatly dressed, wear protective gloves, and not wear spiked shoes.
